Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Airport / Rawnsley Park Tea and coffee at Bankstown/Warnervale airport, morning tea at Cobar. Tour and lunch in White Cliffs. In the afternoon depart White Cliffs for a sundowner tour, canapes and drinks hosted by a personal guide at Rawnsley Park overlooking Wilpena Pound. Dinner at Woolshed Restaurant. Overnight at Rawnsley Park, Wilpena Pound
Day 2
Rawnsley Park / Birdsville Full buffet breakfast in Woolshed Restaurant before departing Rawnsley Park for Marree with a scenic flight around Wilpena Pound, then north along Flinders Ranges. Upon arrival in Marree enjoy a short town tour and morning tea with Marree Hotel host, before boarding a scenic flight of southern Lake Eyre, Marree Man and the Painted Hills on Anna Creek Station. Arrive at William Creek Hotel for a light Lunch, then depart William Creek on a scenic flight via Lake Eyre, Cooper Creek, Warburton Inlet, Warburton River, Goyder Lagoon, Diamantina River, Eyre Creek and Big Red to Birdsville. Upon arrival into Birdsville enjoy a Big Red Tour, sunset drinks and nibbles and later a 3-course dinner in the dining lounge at Birdsville Hotel. Overnight at the Birdsville Hotel
Day 3
Birdsville / Airport Buffet breakfast at the Birdsville Hotel/bakery, followed by a walking tour of the Birdsville township with experienced guide. We then depart Birdsville for Innamincka with a scenic flight over Diamantina River, Goyder Lagoon, Birdsville Track, Strzelecki Desert, Coongie Lakes and Gas Fields. Upon arrival in Innamincka enjoy a town tour and a visit to Bourke’s grave. Have lunch at the Innamincka Hotel before departing Innamincka for Bourke. Enjoy tea/refreshments while the aircraft refuels. The final flight departs Bourke for Bankstown/Warnervale where we say goodbye to the group.
